David Schwimmer revealed the mistake he made the one and only time he hosted Saturday Night Live during his time on Friends.

The 58-year-old actor – who’s currently starring in the Disney+ series Goosebumps: The Vanishing – explained that he made a big scheduling error the week he hosted back in October of 1995. I was the first in the cast of Friends to be invited to host Saturday Night Live, and it was a huge honor. It was 1995, just a year after the show aired.” David explained that he was simultaneously filming Friends the same week that he was due to host the sketch comedy series.

Hosts are supposed to arrive for their hosting week on the Monday prior, but David was not aware of this rule at the time.
