David Livingstone Birthplace museum unveils exciting summer activities programme

With the summer holidays officially underway, people are being encouraged to visit the all new David Livingstone Birthplace museum in Blantyre for a fun family day out.For the 2022 Summer Programme, which includes a number of workshops and activities, has been inspired by David Livingstone’s love of nature and storytelling.It includes activities to help teach children and adults how important it is to look after the environment, as well as events such as weekly interactive story sessions with song and movement for children aged two to six, held at the museum and based on Southern African and Scottish stories.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
