in 2012.The former boxing champion explained he saw his stint on the ITV show as more of a “health retreat” than a tough challenge, due to the food rations in camp.When quizzed on what the toughest part of his experience was in an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk, David said: “I found it very easy to be honest.“I come from a weight governed sport, so I used to have to box at 90 kilos and so I used to have to take off a stone and a half before every fight.“So the food deprivation was fine, the challenges once again, if you get used to being punched in the head by big 18 stone men, climbing up a little.
