Manchester United are set to begin a new era in the coming days. David de Gea has left, and a new face will now be standing between the goalposts for the Reds following the arrival of Andre Onana for £47.2m from Inter - and the new signing could make his debut as early as this weekend.
Onana brings plenty of pedigree, having been one of the star players for Inter as they made their way all the way through to the Champions League final against Manchester City last season.
The Cameroonian will offer a better fit for United manager Erik ten Hag's style of play with his ability to get on the front foot with progressive passes and his ability to play out from the back.
Ultimately, it was De Gea's difficulties in adapting his game to be able to do this which led to Ten Hag's initial doubts over the Spaniard.
