David Beckham gave staff at his favourite Oxfordshire chippy the surprise of their life on Monday evening. The former footballer pulled out all the stops for his wife and kids as he made a 28-mile round trip to pick up some greasy grub during the lockdown.

David, 45, and his wife Victoria, 46, are isolating at their Cotswolds home with their kids Romeo, 17, Cruz, 15, and Harper, eight.

He paid a quick visit to Off The Hook in Witney, Oxfordshire, which could have taken the star at least 48 minutes there and back just to pick up some supper for the clan.
