The former England player, 46, looked typically dapper in a grey suit, which he teamed with a matching shirt and a blue, white and red striped tie.
On his wrist he was sporting a blingy silver watch, and looked tense as he watched the hotly-anticipated match on Tuesday night.
Ed, 30, looked more casual in a white t-shirt which showed off his array of colourful tattoos. The duo chatted in the crowds as they watched the game.
