David Beckham offers 'maybe' opinion as daughter Harper fears 'trouble' in public speech alongside mum Victoria

David Beckham has hailed wife Victoria and their daughter Harper as his "women of the year". The former footballer was congratulating the fashion designer after she won Entrepreneur of the Year prize at Harper's Bazaar's Women of the Year awards.

Victoria, 50, was presented with the award at the ceremony on Tuesday night (November 5) by the couple's 13-year-old daughter.

Sharing a photo of his wife and Harper at the event, he wrote on his Instagram Story: "So proud, woman of the year. Maybe it should be women of the year, you both look so beautiful." It comes after Harper admitted she was "so nervous" as she stood on stage to honour her own mother at the event.

She said: "Good evening everyone, I’m so excited to be here presenting the entrepreneur award - especially as tonight is a school night. The teenager hailed the way her famous mother has taught her lessons in "what it takes to succeed", as well as the importance of being "kind".
