Sharing the moment he was caught in the act on social media, David, 44, appeared to pluck a bag of Mini Eggs that were hidden in a tree. "Not great facials but caught stealing the kids eggs," the former footballer joked.
The doting dad was making the most of the Easter sunshine and had embarked on a Easter egg hunt with his daughter Harper-Seven, Eight.
In the pictures, the youngster looked pleased as she paraded around the garden with a woven basket and collected lots of tasty treats.
