David Ayer is looking back on one of his biggest movies, which wound up being one of his biggest disappointments – Suicide Squad.
The director tackled the 2016 movie, which starred the likes of Margot Robbie, Will Smith, Viola Davis and Cara Delevingne.
Despite being a box office hit, it was largely panned by critics. David was not involved with the sequel, which premiered in 2021 and was directed by James Gunn.
During a recent interview, the director opened up about the experience, explaining how it “broke” him.
