David Alaba has confirmed he will leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season. The Austrian international has been a mainstay of the club's defence for over a decade winning 24 major honours.
But he has confirmed that he will leave the Allianz Arena when his contract expires, as he seeks a new challenge. Alaba, who has twice won the Champions League with Bayern, as well as being a key player in their Bundesliga dominance, confirmed on Tuesday: "I have personally made the decision to leave FC Bayern at the end of this season and try something new. "It obviously wasn't an easy decision - I've been here for 13 years and the club is very important to me. "I decided for myself to try something new, a new challenge." Alaba will leave Germany
