justjared.comDave Franco is reacting to all the talk about him possibly playing Luigi Mangione! If you forgot, last month Luigi, 26, was arrested after allegedly fatally shooting UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in New York City.
Ever since his arrest, fans have been calling for Dave, 39, to play Luigi in a potential project since the two appear to look similar as they both have bushy eyebrows.
While making an appearance at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival, Dave revealed that he’s been flooded with texts and calls about playing Luigi. Keep reading to find out more…“I’ve never received more texts in my life about anything,” Dave told The Hollywood Reporter with a laugh.
His wife Alison Brie then chimed in saying, “Yeah…But I don’t think there’s been any official offers.” “No official offers,” Dave confirmed.
