Date set for super fun play day at North Lanarkshire museum this week

A museum in Lanarkshire is hosting a special national play event this week.There will be sports, bouncy castles and a host of other activities at Summerlee Museum in Coatbridge as it participates in Playday, the national day for play, this Wednesday (August 3)Playday is celebrated each year across the UK on the first Wednesday in August and this year’s theme is ‘All to play for – building play opportunities for all children.’ To encourage families to participate in play, Summerlee Museum has invited special guests to highlight the importance of play for everyone and to provide playful activities.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
