The force said they have 'driven down' crimes such as burglary, violent crime, and theft, while arrests have increased. The force said their performance is 'ahead of the national trend' and is 'rapidly improving' after a 'back to basics' approach to policing.
It comes after they were placed into 'special measures' between 2020 and 2022.
