Jamie Lang Italy’s Titanus Production is heading to Series Mania with its latest project, horror teen drama “Phenomena – The Series,” adapted from Dario Argento’s classic 1985 film “Phenomena,” known as “Creepers” in the U.S.

The project will participate in this year’s Co-Pro Pitching Sessions and promises to captivate potential partners with its unique blend of supernatural intrigue and high-stakes drama. “Phenomena – The Series” is the brainchild of acclaimed creators Nicola Guaglianone and Menotti, who have reimagined the visionary world of Argento’s “Phenomena,” which starred Jennifer Connelly and was drastically recut before being distributed as “Creepers” in the U.S.

and U.K. At first, the idea was to develop a sequel feature, but over time, the writers’ idea evolved into a long-form series that would bring new life to the original’s narrative.

The series adaptation follows Jennifer Corvino, an American student at a fencing academy in the glamorous Dolomites, who harbors a secret psychic link with insects.
