Kilmarnock’s No 1 – but he didn’t think it would come 45 minutes after being benched.The Northern Irish stopper was left out of the starting XI on game day one as Alex Dyer called upon Jake Eastwood.But the Sheffield United loanee was forced off at half-time with a quad injury, meaning Rogers was thrown into the deep end.And since then he hasn’t looked back playing every minute in between the sticks.And now he knows it’s up to him to keep his place.Speaking exclusively to the Standard, he said: “I am loving it at the moment, it’s good to be playing football at a big club too.“I can always do better, but at the moment I feel like I am finding my feet and I am feeling good about my game.“I just hope I can keep it going and start.
