Former Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy has claimed that Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay would be a 'nightmare' to play against.

The Scotland international came under criticism for his personal performance in United's defeat to Brighton on the opening day of the new season, with a number of Reds legends slamming the midfielder.

McTominay was dropped to the substitutes bench for the defeat to Brentford, but did come on in the match. However, the 25-year-old has been impressive in recent weeks with United winning their last four matches. "But he’ll give everything to destroy and stop the opposition scoring.
