Danny Jones was spotted looking cheerful just days after issuing a heartfelt apology to his wife and family.The McFly frontman found himself in hot water after footage emerged of him sharing a kiss with Love Island's Maura Higgins at a BRIT Awards afterparty earlier this month.

Danny, 39, and Maura, who were co-stars on ITV's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! last year, were seen sharing a kiss at the Universal Music BRIT Awards afterparty on Saturday, 1 March.

Onlookers claimed that the pair seemed quite cosy with each other at the star-studded event. While Maura, 34, has kept quiet about the incident, Danny took to social media last week to apologise to his wife and family for his actions and thanked fans for their "understanding" of the situation.

Danny wrote: “Sorry it’s taken me a while to post this but I’ve taken some time out to be with those closest to me. I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation.
