Evil Dead II star Danny Hicks has died at the age of 68 after being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. The horror icon had only revealed his diagnosis with stage 4 cancer just four weeks prior to his death.

The actor's most memorable roles include parts in Intruder, Darkman, My Name Is Bruce, and Spider-Man 2. Hicks' death was announced on YouTube by his company Full Empire Promotions with a tribute video.

The tribute video, posted on Tuesday, noted: "Danny passed away at his home in CA. "We love you Danny, rest easy my friend. No more pain." The video's own description also reads: "On June 30, 2020 we lost a friend, client, and talented actor in Danny Hicks. "Here is our tribute to the star of Evil Dead 2, Intruder, Darkman, and so many
