No matter what kind of story you’re trying to tell, getting two talented actors for central roles is an excellent first step. In the case of Castle in the Ground, even a premise that descends into some questionable territory is heavily mitigated by who you’re watching engage in these acts. Here, it’s Imogen Poots and Alex Wolff, with the latter having a truly tough leading role to play (the former has the best moments though, by far). The movie goes to some dark places and makes some debatable narrative decisions, but Poots and Wolff are so inherently watchable that you’re willing to forgive some of its trespasses.

Here’s the trailer for a film called Castle In The Ground, a new film which first premiered at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival. I sadly didn’t catch the film at the festival but I’ve heard good things about it after briefly talking with the cast on the red carpet as they headed into the premiere. Imogen Poots, Neve Campbell, and Alex Wolff are amongst that cast, and the film is directed by Joey Klein.

Danny DeVito is pleading with his fans in a new video, and urging them to stay put in their homes during the coronavirus pandemic.

It’s no longer just Governor Andrew Cuomo who is asking New York citizens to stay home amid the growing COVID-19 global pandemic. In a video the Governor posted to Twitter on March 22, Danny DeVito asked everyone in the state to stay home and save lives — including his. “I’m asking you from the bottom of my heart, all over the state of New York, stay home,” Danny asked in ernest. “I mean everybody.” The actor then shared just how dire the situation really is and, amid the uncertain and anxiety-inducing circumstances, managed to find a way to add some humor into his message.
