Jodie Comer tipped to play Ms Honey in Netflix adaptation of Matlida

evoke.ieIf there’s one thing we love, it’s a classic film, and one all-time childhood favourite has to be Matilda. The much-loved 1996 film, based on the iconic book by author Roald Dahl, is still one that is repeated on TV today, and for good reason.
You can imagine our delighted then, when it was announced that a remake of Matilda was in the works, from Netflix. Details have begun to emerge on the rumoured cast, and it’s certainly looking to be an star-studded film!
Mail Online reports Jodie Comer, 27, has been tipped to play Ms Honey in the remake. Embeth Davidtz played the role of the kindhearted school teacher in the 1996 version, alongside Mara Wilson and Danny DeVito.
