Danny Brown and Ab-Soul have worked together on popular tracks like “Terrorist Threats” and “Really Doe,” but it seems the latter song marked a turning point in their relationship.
The Atrocity Exhibition posse cut features Ab-Soul, Kendrick Lamar, and Earl Sweatshirt, but Danny explained in a recent Twitch stream that Ab-Soul got upset after discovering that the track wasn’t just the two of them.
According to the Detroit rapper, Ab then removed Danny’s verse from the song “Huey Knew THEN” and replaced him with New Jersey MC Da$H.
Twitter user @rapvillainy_ captured the clip, which reveals that Danny didn’t intend for anyone to be on the song at first. “‘Really Doe’ was a song that was done.
