The 40-year-old Till actress arrived in an edgy Versace animal print mini dress, accessorizing with bright blue gloves and sparkly jewels for the award show party. Danielle, who was snubbed for an Oscar nomination for Till, was mentioned by host Jimmy Kimmel during the award show.
He pointed out that she, along with Viola Davis, did deserve noms. She’s previously spoken out about the snub, citing that “the specific hatred, dislike, distrust, and prejudice directed toward Black women” is part of a bigger reason for it.
