A man who donned a silver fancy dress wig to chase after and sexually assault a teenage victim was convicted of the crime today.
Mark Brown initially denied to police that he was the man seen in CCTV footage wearing the wig, a dress and a leather jacket while sprinting after his unsuspecting victim, a court heard.
The 30-year-old spotted the victim go past and donned a dress and leather jacket before dashing out of his flat in a mad rush to catch her He put on the long silver wig as he ran for 500 metres before catching his victim in the early hours of September 20 last year, prosecutors said.
