The dangerous driving of a man high on cannabis was captured on film. Christopher Foster mounted pavements and central reservations, jumped red lights, and drove across oncoming traffic - just missing a juggernaut.
Now he is starting a two-year jail sentence and officers say it was "a miracle" no one was injured by his driving during a police pursuit.
The 34-year-old pleaded guilty to dangerous driving, drug driving, driving without insurance, and driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence at Chester Crown Court.
Police tried to stop Foster's silver Vauxhall Astra on the A41 in Rowton, Chester one day in March this year. The Astra pulled into a bus stop as if to stop, but as the officer pulled in behind it, the vehicle accelerated away at speed.
