Dancing On Ice's Ryan Thomas suffers 'tough fall' just days before show launch
ok.co.ukRyan Thomas has revealed he’s suffered a devastating setback just days before making his Dancing on Ice debut, after he took a tumble during training.
The 39 year old actor, who is paired with professional skater Amani Fancy for the upcoming series shared the news of his “tough fall” on This Morning.
Discussing their progress so far, Amani explained: “I mean we've got a long journey ahead of us, we need to make sure that what happened in practice a few weeks ago doesn't happen in the live shows - which was quite a tough fall. “But it's not easy, they've got to lift us, they've got a life in their hands.” As if to emphasis the point, during the segment, Ryan and Amani even showed off one of the tricky lifts they had been practicing much to the delight of the audience at home!
In daring scenes, Ryan could be seen lifting his partner above his waist as she completed a mid air arabesque complete with her leg reaching behind his head!
