Dancing on Ice viewers were left divided after the 2025 winner was announced on Sunday night. In the live final on 9 March, Coronation Street's Sam Aston faced off against former footballer Anton Ferdinand and Springwatch's Michaela Strachan, with all three vying for the title.The finalists dazzled with showcase routines, each scoring a perfect 40 from the judges.

After the first round of voting, Anton and his partner Annette Dytrt were placed third. With the lines reopened, Michaela and Sam battled it out with Bolero-inspired performances.

Hosts Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern then crowned Sam, 31, and his partner Molly Lanaghan as champions and Springwatch presenter Michaela, 58, and her skating partner Mark Hanretty placed second.

Fans gushed over Sam's triumph, with one fan exclaiming: "Congrats Sam! ! Worthy winner!" and another sharing their support: "Yessss Sam you won it so proud of you voted for you since the start".
