RuPaul's Drag Race UK winner and Dancing On Ice star The Vivienne, whose real name is James Lee Williams, has shared details from when they were allegedly “attacked” in a McDonalds on Friday 16 June.
In a series of tweets, the star explained: “Just been attacked in McDonald’s, Police on way. Homophobia alive and well folks!
First time I’ve never retaliated in a fight because I’m not gonna punch somebody in front of kids and women.” The Vivienne then explained that the “culprit has been found” after thanking followers for their “concern”.The Welsh star, 31, continued in another tweet and wrote: “Two lovely ladies just came and complimented my hair and said I look lovely, what a stark contrast of people we have on this planet!
All in a day huh? A punch and a compliment.” The Dancing on Ice star then thanked the staff at the McDonalds who “acted fast” as they penned another update: “Huge thank you to the fantastic staff at @McDonaldsUK Edge Lane who acted fast and removed the idiot from the premises and did everything in their power to make sure I was ok and waited for police with me.” Also updating Instagram of the situation, The Vivienne posted a video while in the back of a taxi and said: “After a homophobic attack at noon, punch to the jaw, man arrested….
