Dan Wootton, the former GB News presenter, has said sorry to Johnny Depp and Amber Heard for adding to their "contributing to their heartache" with a 2018 article in The Sun.Wootton, who was born in New Zealand, found himself in a legal battle with Depp because of the article when he was the newspaper's executive editor.Depp, star of Pirates of the Caribbean, made a libel claim against News Group Newspapers - the company that owns The Sun - and a judge later decided the article was proven to be "substantially true".In a video shared on X, which used to be called Twitter, Wootton said sorry to both actors and his old bosses."I don't know what happened between Johnny and Amber...
