Broadcaster Dan Walker has made his first public appearance since recovering from his horror road accident, where he was knocked off his bike by a passing car.
Sharing the news of his crash earlier this year, the former BBC Breakfast presenter, 45, shared a shocking picture of his injured and bloodied face while in the back of the accident.
Following the scary incident, he revealed that his helmet saved his life, and encouraged other cyclists to always wear one, writing: "The helmet I was wearing saved my life today so - if you’re on a bike - get one on your head." Having since recovered from his injuries Dan headed on a night out in Mayfair earlier this week as he hosted the Royal Television Society awards ceremony at the Hilton Hotel.
Dan smiled for cameras as he left the hotel at 1:15 am before heading to the Wyld Nightclub next door with two pals. Dress for the occasion the broadcaster looked dapper as he sported a sparkling blue suit, white shirt and black bow tie.
