Dan Walker stayed at the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel in King's Cross earlier this week. The BBC Breakfast presenter hopped onto his social media account on Thursday to inform his 745,000 followers that after having experienced some issues with the room he'd initially booked, staff ended up upgrading him to stay in the royal suite instead."So… best news ever," he began."There was an issue with my room at the @StPancrasRen so I got an upgrade… TO THE ROYAL SUITE!!!

SHUT THE FRONT DOOR(S)!"The Strictly Come Dancing 2021 contestant went on to share a string of photos from the comfort of his spacious suite, which included a dining table big enough to fit 18 people."It might only be one night… but I need to make the most of it," Dan added."Table seats 18… who's in?"The royal suite at the swanky hotel is believed to cost upwards of £500 a night and is often reserved for special guests.Four snaps were attached to the tweet, with one photo showing Dan's huge living space while a painting of Queen Elizabeth hung above the fireplace. The father-of-three also photographed his master bedroom, complete with a private seating area and a private double en-suite.The bathroom featured marble flooring and a glass chandelier hanging from the ceiling, along with double sinks and a chaise lounge.Fans didn't hesitate to react to Dan's hotel room upgrade in the comment section of his post, as one person joked that the suite was big enough for his very own Strictly dance floor."Remove the table and you have your very own Strictly Dance floor," @Katelamb12 quipped."Just missing the Glitterball."Another Twitter user @Sand26562 continued: "Why have a bed for two but a huge dining table, very odd."Bet there have been a few office parties in there!!!.
