Dame Judi Dench's ambitions for the next five years are to “stay alive” and get some exciting parts to play which are not “just old women”.
The acclaimed actor, 86, has won an Oscar and six Baftas but is just keen to do something interesting when it comes to her next role on stage or screen.
Asked about her hopes and dreams for the next half decade, she said: “Where do I want to be in five years? I would like to be alive.
Not only do I want to be alive but I would like to be offered a part that is not some old woman in a home somewhere. “I would like to be a crocodile that turns into a dragon and has to walk a tightrope.
