Damaged lamppost leaning over Lanarkshire street for two months is 'death trap' for locals

It's a case of déjà vu for concerned locals in a Lanarkshire town as another leaning lamppost causes chaos. The damaged street light was smashed into by a vehicle in Larkhall in December, just like another which was reported by Lanarkshire Live only last week.However, this time the structure has laid hazardous for nearly two months and has been called a "death trap" by worried residents.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

She told us : "Walking this pathway in the dark is a death trap as this one streetlight being out has knocked out the whole stretch of road.
