Pupils from Dalbeattie High have been putting their sustainability skills to the test in a scheme aimed at developing the employability skills of the future.
They were among 15 teams involved in the Powering Futures Schools Challenge presentations, with students tasked with finding innovative, sustainable solutions to real world challenges facing businesses today.
The pupils had to research the challenges and work together on creative solutions for Scottish Water, EV charging experts Urban Fox, BritishGas, Newsquest and the Scottish Government.
Tasks they had to deal with included reducing water consumption, improving transport connectivity and net zero targets for sports clubs and schools.
