deadline.comEXCLUSIVE: UTA has signed BAFTA-award-winning actress and writer Daisy May Cooper for representation in all areas.
Cooper first gained widespread recognition as the co-creator, writer, and star of the critically acclaimed BBC Three comedy series This Country.
She received BAFTA Awards for Best Scripted Comedy and Best Female Comedy Performance for her portrayal of ‘Kerry Mucklowe.’ The mockumentary sitcom gives an inside look at rural life in a small English village in the Cotswolds through the lives of two cousins, one played by Cooper and the other by her brother Charlie Cooper who co-created the series.
This Country ran for three seasons from 2017-2020. Following This Country, Cooper starred in the BBC One/HBO dramedy series Rain Dogs.
