Daisy Edgar-Jones starred as Marianne alongside Paul Mescal as Connell in the hit coming-of-age BBC romantic drama based on the bestselling novel by Sally Rooney.
She told BBC News: “I love those characters. It would be wonderful to explore them again.” She added: “If [Rooney] is up for writing a new story, who knows… Keeping it open.
Always open.” The series was released in April 2020, on BBC Three initially in the UK, and on Hulu in the US, and became one of the great TV hits of lockdown.
