A father who told cops he was returning from a family Christmas trip has been found guilty of stashing £2 million of heroin in his campervan.
Michael Sloan tried to pass off the trip to Border Force officers who stopped him that he was visiting German Christmas markets when he was pulled at Dover.
However, the agency cops uncovered 20kgs of the Class A drug hidden out of sight in a secret compartment of the holiday home.
Sloan was stopped as he drove his partner and three children - aged between one and six - through Dover Eastern Docks in December 2019.
