The grief-stricken family of a man who died after going into the Thames to save a woman claimed search teams gave up too quickly.

A man who died after jumping in the River Thames to save a woman who fell from London Bridge has been named on social media as Folajimi Olubunmi-Adewole.

MyLondon reported.City of London police, ambulance services and the coastguard were called to the scene to try to help all three people who were in the water. Marine units managed to rescue the woman and one of the men who jumped in after her, but they were unable to locate a second man.
