Former Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera is closing in on a move to Argentinian side Boca Juniors, according to reports this week.
The 35-year-old represented the Red Devils for five years between 2014 and 2019 having signed from La Liga side Athletic Bilbao.
He made over 180 appearances in that time and won both the FA Cup, League Cup and Europa League. He then signed for Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer a little over five years ago and then returned to Bilbao on a permanent basis in 2023.
He is out of contract in the summer and it appears he could be on the move this month. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Boca Juniors are working on a deal to sign the midfielder in January.
