Dad-of-three had stroke as he spoke to his wife over FaceTime

A dad-of-three was on FaceTime to his wife when he suffered a stroke after shouting his daughters for help. Wayne Burns had previously been healthy and had recently made lifestyle changes to support his medication for high blood pressure.

He also had plans to join the gym with his daughter and cut out alcohol completely. But during the early hours of last Friday morning, Wayne suddenly took ill at his home in St Helens and shouted out to his daughters when he realised something was wrong.

With wife of 16 years Lindsay working as a locum nurse in the Isle of Man, she was reassuring her husband via Facetime as he suffered a suspected stroke, reports The Echo.
