A father-of-five was mowed down in a suspected hit-and-run road-rage attack in Stockport. Danielle Charnock, 38, said her husband Dave was "left for dead" after being "crushed" by a pick-up truck at the busy Portwood roundabout.
Dave, 41, got out of his car at traffic lights after the motorist hurled abuse and shouted "do you think you can cut me up?", it is claimed.
Danielle said the "inhumane" truck driver then pinned him against the car and struck with such force that the truck dragged both Dave and his car, before leaving the scene.
Miraculously, the mechanic escaped with minor injuries after receiving a CT scan and 16 X-rays in hospital. Now, Danielle, from Stockport, is appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, which happened at 3pm on May 4, to come forward.
