Taylor Swift

Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

A dad has been left fuming after being slapped with a fine for parking at McDonald's during half of a family fun day. The chain's Barton Dock Road restaurant, next to EventCity in Trafford, hosted the event to raise cash for Ronald McDonald House Charities on Sunday, September 18.

Aaron Hamilton, from Salford, took his partner Francesca Amoroso and three-year-old daughter Bella to the event. It included face painting for children and the chance for kids to make their own ice cream.

The event was advertised as taking place from midday to 4pm, and Aaron's family stayed for around half of that time. But yesterday (September 28) he was left shocked after being sent a parking ticket by operator UKPC, having parked up outside the McDonald's for more than an hour and a half. You should expect the parking to cover the event. "I'm not happy about it. I'm obviously going to appeal it, but I shouldn't have to be spending an hour or so appealing it, it's a massive waste of my time. "I'm not going to pay it - absolutely no chance.
