A vulnerable dad froze to death almost two weeks after being released from police custody, an inquest heard. Mark Wilfred Davies died in hospital from hypothermia after he was found filthy and freezing behind some bushes by a security guard, Yorkshire Live reports.
The 53-year-old had been released from custody almost two weeks earlier. He reportedly had no money, no bank cards and no phone.

An inquest into his death heard how Mark, who divided his time between Wyke, Bradford, and Rastrick, near Brighouse, had once been an 'outgoing' man who had worked as a labourer but had developed mental health problems allied with excessive drinking.
Mark had been arrested in Bradford and taken to Leeds magistrates' court because it was the only local court sitting on a Saturday.
