Sex and the City star Cynthia Nixon has recalled her time on the show, saying it lacked diversity and now looks "very dated." Cynthia, 54, played Miranda Hobbes on the subversive HBO comedy/sitcom which ran for six reasons between 1998 and 2004.
It was also adapted for two films in 2008 and 2010. The show followed four women - played by Cynthia, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall and Kristin Davis - as they navigated life and relationships in New York City.
