Cyclist knocked off bike then hit by car dies as police make two arrests
manchestereveningnews.co.ukA man in his 80s died after being knocked off his bike and being hit by a car, police said. Lancashire Police said the man died at the scene this morning.
Oxcliffe Road in Morecambe was closed for hours as the emergency services worked at the scene. Two men, aged 26 and 62, have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

The force said in a statement: "The emergency services were called at 7.53am today (21st September) to Oxcliffe Road, Heaton-with-Oxcliffe, Morecambe, to a report of a road traffic collision.
