Cyclist, 60, hurt after 'hit-and-run' in Cheetham Hill

A cyclist aged 60 has been hurt following a hit-and-run in Cheetham Hill tonight. Police and paramedics were called to the scene at 6.22pm.

The incident happened on Elizabeth Street in north Manchester close to the junction with the A6010 Queens Road. Pictures from the scene showed an ambulance at the scene tonight.

The incident is said to have happened outside Cheetham Plumbing Supplies, which is close to the junction. Police and paramedics were called to the scene.
