Cumbernauld Colts gave their Lowland League survival hopes a huge shot in the arm on Saturday with a 94th minute winner over Cowdenbeath. And now boss John Doyle is targeting a third league win on the spin when they host rock-bottom Broomhill, aiming to pile the pressure on their rivals.Callum Wilson bagged a last-gasp winner in a 3-2 success at home to the Blue Brazil and it moved Colts four points clear of Broomhill, who have three games in hand, and two points ahead of second-bottom Gala Fairydean.Colts looked to be settling for a point against Cowden after goals from Liam Allison and Zak McKay had the game level at 2-2.But Wilson popped up with a huge goal and Doyle, whose side beat Celtic B in their previous outing, said: “We don’t make it easy for ourselves.“At 2-2 you are thinking you might take a point, but somebody behind me told me Caley Braves had scored late on to beat Broomhill so for us to get a 94th winner was brilliant – and what a way to do it, right at the death.“Beating Celtic was a big win and one nobody expected us to get, even ourselves, to be honest, so it was great to get that and follow it up on Saturday.“I didn’t even celebrate the late goal because I was having to do a double and triple take to see if the ball had gone in, even though the players were away celebrating.

I was delighted with it but I just wanted the game done at that point.”On the task facing his side this weekend, Doyle added: “Every game now is massive but to go and win against a club around us would be great.“Hopefully we can take a lot of confidence from the last two league results and maybe Broomhill are not in a great place after losing their game so late.
