Cruel family abandons dog leaving her chained up outside when they move house

If there's one thing we know to be true, it's that dogs are too pure and good for this world and honestly we don't deserve them.

So the idea of anyone causing harm or distress to a cute little pup is incredibly upsetting. But one family did just this to their dog, throwing the elderly animal out like rubbish when they decided to move house.

The poor unwanted pooch, named Athena, was left tied up by a deserted café in Nikolaevka, Bulgaria, abandoned by those she loved most.

To make matters worse, the cruel owners had also put a heavy chain around the dog's neck, meaning she was unable to go very far to find food or water.
