Mark Harley Jones of Chester Road, Wrexham was told by a judge at Mold Crown Court today he would spend at least 16 years behind bars for the murder of Kyle Patrick Walley.
Jones, 20, failed to convince a jury he was acting in self-defence when he attacked and killed Mr Walley, 19, after they rowed on the night of the Euro final clash between England and Italy in July 21.
The Snapchat footage showed Jones and Mr Walley drinking cider and whisky in the victim's Rhosymedre flat. Things turned sinister when Jones was shown brandishing a knife and telling his followers he felt like "stabbing someone up right now".
