Ronan Keating has spoken out about becoming a grandad for the first time, after his son Jack welcomed a baby daughter in March.
Jack, 24, who starred on Love Island in 2022, announced the surprise arrival of his first child on 9 March, and shared a sweet black-and-white snap of him holding his newborn daughter on Instagram.
Now Boyzone star Ronan, 47, who shares son Jack and daughters Missy and Ali with ex-wife Yvonne Connolly, has broken his silence over his new granddaughter and even shared what he wants her to call him when she can talk, as he appeared on The One Show on Monday night.
The singer spoke about Jack's baby daughter as he sat down with co-host Jermaine Jenas on the BBC One show, who turned to him and joked: "Well said, grandad." Ronan then proudly replied: "Yes I am, my son had a gorgeous baby." Jermaine then explained that Ronan will not actually be called grandad, prompting the Boyzone star to reveal what he wants to be called by his granddaughter. "Uh, pops, we'll go with that, perfect," the 47 year old said.
