An alleged gunman accused of shooting a police officer dead was reportedly revived by doctors after 'dying' in hospital. The 23-year-old is alleged to have shot Matt Ratana in a custody suite at a police station in Croydon, south London, before shooting himself in the early hours of Friday morning.
He remains in critical condition under police guard in hospital. Sources told The Sun there was "zero chance" he was well enough to speak to officers while they carry out an investigation to find out how the shooting happened and how the suspect had a gun in a police custody suite.
